Durdle Door

North Lodge has been lovingly restored and renovated to offer cosy and stylish holiday accommodation for families or groups of friends.

The cottage sleeps 5, with two double bedrooms upstairs and a single bedroom downstairs, which can also be used as a study. There’s a large private garden, with views across the downs, and parking for two cars next to the cottage, with more space opposite.

Sleeping

The master bedroom has a king sized bed with posturepedic mattress and Egyptian cotton bedlinen. The view from the window extends south over the farm and countryside beyond. There’s a bedside table on either side of the bed, a dressing table, chest of drawers and plenty of hanging space in a separate alcove.

The pretty second bedroom also has a king size double with posturepedic mattress and Egyptian cotton bedlinen. This cosy room features the original pine partition wall and decorative fireplace, with alcove for clothes hanging and storage. The views are north over the countryside.

The study bedroom downstairs has a comfortable single bed and charming button upholstered chair. This room also features original pine panelling to one wall.

Bathroom

The bathroom is also downstairs and has entirely new fittings including bath with shower over, wash hand basin on marble plinth, shaver point, WC and heated towel rail. The timber blind ensures privacy.

Relaxing

The sitting room is light and airy with plenty of space to relax and unwind. The French doors open directly onto the garden, which includes patio and bbq area, as well as a well-stocked herb garden for the keen chef.

Hi speed wi-fi throughout the cottage.

Kitchen and dining room

The fully-fitted kitchen is supplied with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware and a full range of cooking utensils. There’s an electric oven and hob; kettle and toaster; fridge, freezer and dishwasher; and a picnic set for the garden or outings.

You’ll find a starter supply of washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, kitchen towel, tea towels and oven gloves.

For young children there’s a high chair, booster seat and plastic cutlery sets.

In the separate utility room there’s a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.
The utility room opens onto the back door and provides space for wellies, walking boots and other outdoor gear.
